Carlos is a bilingual attorney licensed in Mexico, with legal training in Mexico and the U.S. He has practiced as a transactional and disputes associate in law firms across both jurisdictions and served as in-house counsel for a Canadian mining company. Carlos earned an LL.M. from the University of Chicago Law School, a master’s degree in tax law from Universidad de Monterrey, and a law degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
He also served as associate professor of Legal English at Tecnológico de Monterrey. His legal education also spans France and the U.K., and he has lived in Chicago, Washington D.C., Monterrey, and Chihuahua, Mexico. As a Mexican and U.S. national, Carlos offers a multicultural perspective with a focus on Mexican, U.S., and international law.
Natalia is a bilingual attorney licensed in Mexico. She holds a law degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey, a master’s degree in valuation, and pursued international law studies at Instituto Lorenzo De’ Medici in Italy. Natalia also trained under the Mexican Translators Organization.
Before co-founding Replica, Natalia practiced law as a transactional and disputes associate and taught English at Tecnológico de Monterrey. She began her translation career in Mexico’s Baja region. Having attended elementary school in California and lived in several cities in the U.S. and Mexico, Natalia brings a multicultural and nuanced perspective to her work.
